Israeli FM visits Egypt for chats on Gaza truce
Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi showed up in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on Sunday for chats on the Gaza truce with his Egyptian partner Sameh Shoukry, as indicated by Egyptian media, reports Anadolu Agency.
The state-run Al-Akhbar paper said the two ambassadors will examine methods of uniting the truce and the reproduction of the Gaza Strip.
In a Twitter post, Ashkenazi expressed gratitude toward Shoukry for the challenge to visit Egypt which he said was “the principal formal visit of an Israeli FM in 13 years.”
